A Note From Our President
“N.E.W. of Marin began with four women who had a vision for a “NEW” and different kind of women’s networking group. We wanted a group:
1. that would meet in the evening (since none of us were big morning people)
2. with not too many rules (the main one is: COME)
3. where we laugh, have fun AND get business done
One of our original four co-founders, Margaret A. Root, was instrumental in creating what we are today: growing from a meager 8 members in 2010 to over 85 members strong, and counting. Sadly Margaret passed away in 2012, and left behind a legacy that she would be so very proud of today. We will always remember her fondly.

 N.E.W. of Marin was founded with the purpose of supporting the business growth of its members by providing regular networking and educational opportunities. In just 8 short years we have tripled in size. Our business owner members provide professional consulting and personal services, and sell products and services we all need!

The connection: our meetings and the value of leads. On the second Tuesday of each month we hold a regular dinner networking meeting. The first 30 minutes is reserved for an informal meet and greet time. Here members and guests share their latest business news, make new friends and contacts, and exchange ideas about growing their enterprises. Simply stated: it works, our long-time members are a testament to the value of attending regular networking events. The bottom line: making good connections is good for business. inspiredInspiration — our guest speakers get us fired up. Each dinner meeting we host a guest speaker carefully selected to provide education, entertainment and inspiration.  Past speakers have included authors, leadership coaches, marketing and public speaking experts, relationship counselors, health care providers, nutritionists, master chefs, and fitness trainers to name a few. Fun and informal events: business receptions, trips, and group activities… img_1309Our social committee enjoys devising other ways of mixing business with pleasure. We plan quarterly outings or business open house events as well as occasional luncheons for those who are able to attend.  We’ve enjoyed trips to the wine country, outdoor adventures, Bay cruises, and happy hours at various local restaurants. All members are invited and guests are always welcome, space permitting.

Monthly Meetings

We meet once a month for dinner and networking. Costs are $38 members/$43 guests. (early-bird pricing is available if you reserve by the Saturday before the event.

Come to our next meeting and share with us your techniques, strategies, products and services. Whether you are a veteran businesswoman or just starting a venture, you are most welcome to come and inspire, or be inspired in a fun and supportive environment.  Prospective members or visitors can attend two meetings as a guest, but if you would like to continue to participate, membership is required.
